FunInFotos

Today I had hoped to do one of my bullet point posts. But life was too busy even for that. This evening, Dad has taken the kids to the park, so I thought I would blog. It has been since June 27th. Where do I even begin?!?! Oh my. Oh my.

We are enjoying life. Just about every morning we get out and about. Zach takes a good nap in the afternoon and even Mackenzie takes naps a lot of days.

Since I last blogged, we attended the Bluegrass Festival.

Had a birthday 'party' for Dad.

July 4th weekend, kicked it off with some downtown Prescott Idol on Thursday night.

Friday we went to the Kiddie Parade.

Mackenzie made a new friend.

Sunday evening there was a special member's only zoo night. Ben and his Mom were our guests.

July 4th...well, nothing much to report. Mom didn't feel good. Dad was out at the old house doing some cleaning. Next year you guys will see fireworks. Promise.

Grandma Connie and Jon came the day after the 4th and it was go-go-go like crazy!

We went downtown for some line dancing.

Zachy watched...

We had friends over for a BBQ.

On Sunday we met our new friend at the Alice in Wonderland Parade and then had her over to play after.

Saying Bye to Grandma was definitely sad. But, she'll back next month!

That's the nuts and bolts of life. I am going to try really really hard to get a cop-out bullet point post in before you guys get home with a nice mish-mash of wonderful memories and sweet sweet cuteness!

Truth be told, it was cold and windy outside this week. Last  weekend was fine. We took a trip to town and to our new favorite park. 'Mergress Park,' as Mackenzie calls it. But, on our three weekdays at home, sad to say we didn't even make it to the library. Really, it was too miserable for even that. So, we made this best of things. Thankfully we got out a bit today, since the weather has started to warm up some. And, hopefully, we'll have some sort of adventure this weekend. Next weekend is Gold Rush Days down the mountain, so hopefully the weather will cooperate. So, here's a look at the kids, this week.

Somebody was a little upset that we were leaving the park.

The hat? Because he wanted it.

Playing 'Picnic' on RufusDog's new bed.
At least that's what Mackenzie is playing.
Zachy? Who knows!

Playing Pillow Jump.
This game they both 'got!'

A fine way to get out some energy on a cooped up day!

Onward to the inside slide!
Strangely, this photo looks almost identical to the one right above.

Now it's The Zacher's turn.

Playing 'Hi' together.

 Awww....

Mackenzie Photo of the Week:
Her and RufusDog on his new bed.

Zachy Photo of the Week:
Cuddled up with his Gunky. Oh, my heart melted.

Sibling Photo of the Week:
Playing together. Quite well.
And, how did RufusDog make it in TWO, make that THREE pictures!?!?

Seems odd to do a FotoFriday when I am posting a few posts with pictures, but some moments need to be shared as a part of our last week. So, here they are!

Playing Puppy before it got really strange...

Playing baby.
Yes, she barely fits in the highchair.

He LoveLoveLoves Digging.

And Princess Purses...

They were really cute together this week....

Soon after, they started to rub one another's backs.

Mackenzie had me (yes this is MY art) draw her family.
The best part about this was she was practicing cutting with scissors and said,
'I no want to cut this, it special. It my family.'

Trial Gingerbread house making Wednesday.

Somebody needed to be contained while we trialed.
If he could talk, he would've been saying,
'I want more sugar!'

I Love moments like this....

I did not get around to posting yesterday. Yesterday was Thanksgiving and it's pretty obvious what I am Thankful for. I am incredibly Thankful for Mackenzie and Zachy. They are both incredibly remarkable Spirits. I am also Grateful that they have a truly good Father; A Father who loves them very very much. We had a nice day. Mackenzie did not eat too much, she just wanted pie. Zachy enjoyed all the sides, the stuffing, the green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and far too many cranberries (full of s.u.g.a.r. - we saw the impact of this right after dinner!). Both loved having pie!

Some pictures from this week in the lives of Mackenzie and Zachy...

We had some cold, rainy weather this week.
Winter has arrived.

Mackenzie's family tree craft.
We had a lot of fun together making it!

Mackenzie got on RufusDog pretending he was a horse.
He was less than thrilled!

Zachy in 'his' necklace holding money.

Totmusing:
'When I grow up, I going to be a horse rider and save allll the horses!'
A little hard to see, but she is on her stick horse here.

Zachy figured out he can drag things behind him.

And he likes carry things and swing them around.
He looks a bit crazed here! And there's our humanitarian horse rider in the background.

 'Bubbles!' He loves Bubbles.

Trying to keep ourselves entertained with laundry basket rides.
Whatever works!

He's just cute. That smirk...so playful and yet so wise.

How sweet is she? I can't help but smile right back!
